Community alert after attempted kidnapping in Bronzeville

Chicago’s Bronzeville community is on alert after an attempted kidnapping.

Police say a man in a white conversion-type van with burgundy stripes approached a child on 44th and South Prairie Avenue Monday morning.

The man tried to pull the child into his van.

No one has been arrested.
