New details have emerged about an alleged bribery scheme involving the company that manages Chicago’s red light cameras.
Redflex traffic systems claims the scheme was proposed by John Bills, a top Chicago transportation manager, who oversaw the red light program since it began in 2003.
Officials say an internal investigation revealed bills suggested $2-million be paid to a consultant with some of the money intended for bills.
John Bills retired in 2011 and have denied any wrongdoing.
Mayor Emanuel has banned the company from competing for the city’s business when its contract expires in June.

Ah, these are the types of crimes that white people commit. They more sophisticated and affect no one physically but damn, they'll take the shirt right off of your back if given the chance. Good job Emanuel for putting an end to it. We need more non-whites in government to put an end to stuff like this.
