Prosecutors said the girl had resisted Lindsey’s advances until he threatened “he would never talk to her again.”
As other students entered the band room, Strong yelled out to warn Lindsey, according to court records. Lindsey fled, but Strong hid in a cabinet as an ROTC instructor noticed the girl getting dressed, prosecutors said. The instructor later reported what he saw to school officials.
The next day a school social worker notified the victim’s father, who took her to the hospital, prosecutors said.
Police arrested the two teens after school officials reviewed surveillance and the girl picked both out of a police lineup, prosecutors said.
The two suspects, both 18, were charged with aggravated criminal sexual assault.
In bond court today, criminal defense attorney Jack Wilk said the two suspects are seniors at Gage Park and on the wrestling team.
Strong is a self-admitted member of the Gangster Disciples, police alleged in court records. The next court date for both men was set for March 21.
A Chicago Public Schools spokesman declined to comment on the sexual assault, citing privacy and confidentiality issues.
Earlier this week, two boys, 15 and 16, were accused of sexually abusing a 16-year-old girl at a washroom in the school at 5630 S. Rockwell Ave.

Come on, let's face the real story here. Two strong youths (both are on the wrestling team) abused a mentally impaired younger girl. Black, white, purple, green….doesn't matter what color their skin.
