The large, slow moving storm system that brought several inches of heavy snow to the region Tuesday will continue to influence our weather for a few more days.
On the chilly backside of the low we can expect blustery north winds Wednesday with occasional light snow and drizzle.
An additional 1-2 inches of snow accumulation will be possible through midnight.
Overnight snow showers are likely, but little snow accumulation is expected.
A chance for flurries or a few snow showers will remain in the forecast through Thursday.
Passing flurries are possible in lakeside counties Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures through the next seven days are expected to remain colder than average.
