The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago is expected to lay off about 10 percent of its work force Wednesday.
The downsizing has been in the works for months.
No parish priests will lose their assignments.
But, administrative staff at the pastoral center could be cut.
The archdiocese faced a $20 million deficit last year largely because too many schools weren’t self-sufficient and required subsidies from the church.
Cardinal Francis George is in Rome this week to participate in the conclave to choose a new pope.

Obamacare is the biggest scam (think scandal) to ever hit this country. Get your head out of the sand.

The city should layoff 10% of it's work force and give the tax payers a break.
