Bears tackle J’Marcus Webb arrested for marijuana

Chicago Bears offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb was arrested last night after police found marijuana in his car.

Police pulled Webb over for speeding on I57 in Pulaski County and found less than 2.5 grams of marijuana in his possession.

According to authorities, Webb was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.

He posted $ 500 dollars bond and has a court date on March 18.

    If cops would have found a bottle of vodka which in comparison to that 2.5 grams of pot is way more toxic and potentially lethal mind you, this wouldn't have been news. Go figure. That's the upside down world we live in folks. 2.5 grams of pot and you a re a criminal; a (potentially deadly) bottle of vodka and you're in the now and cool as a winter breeze.

    Oh no, 11 miles over the speed limit. I have more than 2.5 grams in my carpet. So basically he got screwed for just over a dime bag. I swear cops are getting dumber by the minute.

    Too bad he wasn't an "undocumented worker" then he could have been sent on his way with any issue. CPD should have better things to do with their resources except that cannabis is easy money for the department.
