Derrick Rose’s brother, Reggie, told ESPN.COM Thursday that the team had not put enough quality players around Derrick to win a championship and that could effect whether Derrick returns from injury and plays this season.

After reportedly meeting with Vice President John Paxson and General Manager Gar Forman before Thursday’s game with Miami, Derrick issued the following statement:

“I have always felt that the Bulls organization’s goals have been the same as mine and that is to bring another championship to this city.”
