Students at two high schools in the northern suburbs are mourning the tragic loss of two, well-liked classmates tonight.

16-year-old Joel Wittkamp and his girlfriend 17-year-old Ashley Seay were killed in a car accident in Antioch last night.

Pouring rain and sleet are to blame for the crash.

Seay was a junior at Lakes Community High School, while Wittkamp was a junior and member of the football team at Antioch High School.
