Science takes on skin products and finds certain creams don’t work as they say.
Liposomes are often added to beauty products. They are small fat capsules beauty insiders say transport other ingedients deep into the skin for anti-aging effects.
But Danish researchers found liposomes do not travel below the skin’s surface and cannot carry other active ingredients.
This is the first time scientists have tracked the liposomes through spectroscopy offering definitive evidence they do not work.
