Apple truck flips over on I-290

Police are investigating how a semi-truck full of apples crashed in Elmhurst.

It happened just before midnight Saturday on the Eisenhower Expressway near North Avenue.

The truck flipped over on the ramp, shutting down that ramp for several hours as the scene was cleaned up, police said.

The driver of the truck was not injured.
