Gov. Pat Quinn and Health and Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced the “next step” towards implementing President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act.
Sebelius says Illinois has been conditionally approved to operate a State Partnership Marketplace, which will be ready for open enrollment in October of 2013.
The new marketplace allows Illinois citizens to select health insurance carriers and tailor the marketplace to local needs.

Let's see how well Obama care is going to work? Everyone is going to get good health insurance at affordable rates. Yeah right don't count on it. People did not have health insurance not because They didn't want it but because They could not afford it. Nothing is going to change.

Hello
Governor Pat Quinn and U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius today announced that Illinois has been conditionally approved to operate a State Partnership Marketplace, which will be ready for open enrollment in October 2013. This federal approval of the partnership, which was announced in a joint appearance at the Erie Health Center in Chicago, will allow Illinois to select health insurance carriers and tailor the marketplace to local needs and market conditions.
Thank you
