Cops: Armed robber took gun from off-duty officer

An off-duty Chicago police officer’s gun, wallet and phone was stolen during an armed robbery.

It happened at 91st and Martin Luther King Drive around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday

The officer was sitting in his vehicle when two men approached.

One of the men pulled out a gun, opened a door, and told his partner to check the officer for a gun. The officer wasn’t hurt.

Police are still looking for the two suspects.

    Ok, now the police are being robbed, next we're gonna have "Martial Law" and all you clowns with guns out here not giving a damn about people are goona be shot and killed be Military Police, is that what you want????

    They are a bunch of fools. The first thing that is going to happen is if someone is shot with that policeman's gun, those robbers, all of them, are going to go down. I would definitely throw the gun away. If a policeman can get robbed and his gun taken, what's to say about the public? ONLY IN CHICAGO.
