An attorney was found guilty of fatally shooting the ex-girlfriend of former Chicago Bulls player Eddy Curry, and their daughter.
A jury convicted Frederick Goings of first-degree murder Tuesday night.
He was hired to represent Curry’s ex during a child-support case.
Nova Henry and her 10-month-old daughter were found dead in their home in Chicago back in 2009.
Her three-year-old son, who was also Curry’s son, was unharmed.
Prosecutors say Goings killed them when his romantic relationship with Henry ended.

There is a court order that states “In the event of Nova’s Death, Eddie Currie will automatically become the custodial parent of Noah.” This order was entered at the time of Ava’s support order (just three months prior to Nova and Ava murders). Before the additional $9,000 ordered for child support for Ava, Eddie Currie never paid child support on time. In fact, he was held in contempt of court multiple times and a few body attachments were entered against him for none payment!
Nova had to find Noah a new daycare school because Eddie failed to pay support on time and Noah’s enrollment was dropped. In addition, Nova had to move out of her condo she was renting in 2007 because she couldn’t pay rent when Eddy Curry refused to pay child support on time!
Eddie Curry only visited with Noah two times prior to Nova’s death! He never knew Ava nor did he want anything to do with her! Eddy Currie didn’t volunteer to pay for Ava’s funeral he was ordered to pay for a portion of the expenses by a family court judge.
Eddy’s wife didn’t know Ava was Eddie Currie second extramarital child! The police never spoke with Patrice (wife) or Eddie Currie regarding these murders! In a murder investigation anyone who stood to gain something from the victims death are investigated! Why was Fredrick Goings the only person who was investigated? And why wasn't this trial publicized?

Very interesting! You make a very valid point! Sounds like Eddie Currie has more to gain from her death and the death of the child. Hopefully, we will not be reading later on how the step mother mistreated the son due to the father's sins! Eddie sounds like a real Loser!!!!
