Contest gives away free divorce for Valentine’s Day

With Valentine’s Day a few days away, one attorney is making an offer for those couples whose marriage is more like “War of the Roses” than “Love Story.”

Michigan attorney and law school professor Walter H. Bentley III is hosting the contest on his website.

The winner is someone who would rather send divorce papers rather than flowers or candy.  They also need to submit the best break-up story.

Bentley says the idea came from a student’s unusual break-up celebration.   The had a ‘divorce party’ to celebrate her return to single status.

The attorney adds he is looking for the most heartwarming person who truly deserves to be free from their spouse.

The divorce would normally cost $3,000.

They can't be serious with this, free divorce — my cousin is looking to divorce his wife and this might be something he could use for this.

if you are licensed in the state of Florida, please let me know. I am not contacting you for a “freeby”, several of my fiends pointed me to your offer and thought, “hey you should wind this one hands down after almost 14 years being married. And no there is no drug use or actual physical abuse, sensational outragousness, this story, so sad but true, is actual and factual on a perfect marriage faltering. And before I do as he blackmailed me, threating to take my heath insurance away if I did not, to meet him at the courthouse to sign off on a non contested divorce, caring people around me suggested to contact this attorney. If you are for real and are licensed to practice law inthe state of florida, please contact me. I really have no where else to go to end this and move on with some dignity.
