First and foremost, Paul McKinley is an activist, not a politician. As an activist McKinley has worked to remedy violence and poverty within his community. According to McKinley, he is campaigning against the Democratic Machine’s control of the Second District.

- Against Peotone Project.
- Supports the use of the Gary International Airport.
Gun Control
- No new laws are needed.
- Law abiding citizens should be able to defend themselves.
Immigration
- Opposed to opening boarders.
- Must deal with social problems that are plaguing existing U.S. Citizens.

I applaud you for your various positions on the conditions plaguing our community and also the country as far as black people are concerned….including the shameful condition of our education system. Dismantling the black communities seem to be the goal of many politicians….not only republicans but also democrats. Please continue your fight. I hope to contact you at a later date to see how I can be of help to your organization for I am also fighting the fight with my 17-year old great grandson who seems bent upon heading in the wrong direction.
