New center aims to help ex-offenders

The job market is tight enough, but for those with criminal records it can be really tough finding work.

A new office in Chicago opened today in hopes of helping Latino ex-offenders turn their life around.

The Safe Foundation and Fellowship Connection have joined forces to work in a new location.

‘The safer Foundation has been in downtown Chicago for 40 years. But now it`s bring its services to the Northwest side Belmont Cragin Neighborhood where an increasing number of Latino clients is in need of its services.

Clients at the new facility will be helped to re-build their lives with training in Spanish and English.
