Monday is bringing us a windy start to the work week.
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for all of northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana until 4:00 p.m. Monday.
As colder air sweeps into the region sustained winds of 25-35 mph, with gusts of 40-50 mph are expected throughout the day.
Flurries and even some snow showers will be possible, mainly in the afternoon hours.
Little or to no accumulation is expected with the snowfall.
The winds will die down tonight as skies clear and temperatures fall into the low 20s.
Mainly sunny skies will accompany near average highs Tuesday.
