A man from Evanston who’s charged with robbing at least 11 hair salons says he did it to support his crack cocaine habit.
Police say 41-year-old Jason Logsdon used a bb gun and picked salons where there were no male workers.
He is accused of robbing five salons in Chicago, one in Broadview, one in Morton Grove and two in Niles and Skokie.
Police spotted Logsdon’s car after a witness at the last reported robbery in Wicker Park provided a partial license number.
Officials say additional charges are being pursued against Logsdon for robberies in Lombard, Glen Ellyn and Bensenville.
