The Chicago Sun-Times reports former Chicago congressman Jesse Jackson Jr is facing “significant jail time” in a plea deal between him and federal prosecutors who have been investigating allegations he misused funds.
Columnist Michael Sneed also reports a source telling her that Jackson’s wife Sandi , who recently resigned as alderman from the 7th Ward, felt like she was thrown under the bus by her husband.
That’s because federal prosecutors are conducting a separate probe looking at how she used her husband’s congressional campaign money.
