Hair salon robber hits Ukrainian Village

Chicago police are investigating another hair salon robbery– this time in the East Ukrainian Village neighborhood.

Police say the suspect entered the “Great Clips” in the 1200 block of North Ashland Avenue around 10:45am Monday.

The man showed a semi-automatic handgun, demanded cash, and then drove off with about $250.

The robber’s description is similar to the suspect who’s hit at least a dozen other area hair salons in recent weeks.
