Chicago police are investigating another hair salon robbery– this time in the East Ukrainian Village neighborhood.
Police say the suspect entered the “Great Clips” in the 1200 block of North Ashland Avenue around 10:45am Monday.
The man showed a semi-automatic handgun, demanded cash, and then drove off with about $250.
A man suspected of robbing more than a half dozen suburban hair salons hit another location.
He has struck salons in Chicago, Niles, Morton Grove, Glen Ellyn, Bensenville and Lombard.
Police say in all incidents the man showed employees a handgun and demanded cash, making off with an undetermined amount of money.
