White house releases photo of Obama skeet-shooting

The White House attempts to silence critics of President Obama’s gun-control policies with a photo.

The Obama Administration says this picture of the president skeet shooting at Camp David was taken last August.

The president raised a few eyebrows last month when he was asked if he ever fired a gun.

Obama answered he liked to go skeet shooting, as an example of the respect he holds for the traditions of hunters.

Several republicans expressed doubts with one even challenging the president to a skeet shooting match.

How about showing a video instead of a photo?? A picture is worth a thousand words but a video never lies!

Staged. Look at the muscle tension in the left arm. Probably the first time ever with a gun of any kind in his hand.

Staged photo. A little low for skeet shooting..you fire at the top of the arc not at face level of your friends. Unless you're the vice president and you're quail hunting.

Wish he would just stop bowing to these idiot's demands and slash the military to pay for universal health care like every other civilized nation on earth. Sure it would unemploy a LOT of people suckling at the teat of the military industrial complex, but at least they wouldn't have to worry about getting sick.

Obama: if he is a Socialist, he's really, REALLY bad at it.

Perhaps the former vice president was the republican that challenged him.

I do not understand why does the white house feel that they need to release a photo of President Obama skeet shooting…..the next thing critics will want is a video, then a 3 hour movies, then an HBO mini-series.

As a founding member of the Save the Skeet Foundation, and the Clay Pigeon Preservation Society, I'm deeply offended.

Wow! The picture of the biggest opponent of the Second Amendment holding firearm. That is like an Anti-Abortionist performing the procedure. It doesn't matter if the photo is real or not. If anything it demonstrates one thing, his elitist mentality. Granted he is not wielding or using an AR15, or AK variant, etc. He doesn't have to. He has lots of security for that. Just like concealed weapons permit holding Feinstein and her armed security. nobody but them can have weapons. This photo is dripping with, "propaganda." It screams…"see guys. I am on your side. I shoot guns too." "Just not big scary guns like my friend Eric Holder sells in the Fast and Furious Operation to Drug Cartels in Mexico." His Elitist mentality is the problem. Well, this pathetic attempt doesn't fool me, or others who believe that the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights are absolute. If he was really trying to make children safer, he would use his power as, "Commander in Chief," to enforce the over 20, 000 existing gun laws, stop revolving door prisons, and have our medical care system stop giving sociopaths a, "little pill," and then reintegrating them into society. Oh, and everyone always says, "think of the children. What about the children." Well guess what, I AM! Their rights are important too. Their rights must be preserved so they will have the ability to protect themselves and their families for generations to come. I wonder, will the children standing behind O Blah Blah still be smiling years from now when they realize he has stripped them of their rights by passing a weapons ban and new laws that criminals will simply disregard anyway? The rights of future generations are important too. Otherwise we as their Forefathers will have failed them.

Blah, Blah, Blah, just shut up. Hey, go yell "fire" in a movie theater and complain how Obama has stripped your right to freedom speech.

Isn’t that the wad just exiting the end of the barrel? I thought that powder smoke followed the wad. Did someone drill a hole about 2 1/2″ from the end of the barrel? How else would that smoke pattern go out at a 90 degree angle? And yes, that should be a nearly relaxed left arm, not strained. It is sad that someone thought that it was so important that the President should pretend that he is a shooter. Who really cares if he is or is not? This does not help with White House credibility.
