A 14-year-old boy is accused of bringing an unloaded gun to school in the Bridgeport neighborhood.
It happened Thursday at Hendricks Elementary Community Academy. Staff members brought the boy into an empty classroom, after being tipped off by another student, police said.
When they tried to search the boy, a struggle broke out and they were forced to restrain him.
The boy had an unloaded 22-caliber pistol in his boot, according to police.
He was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon. He has been cited as a juvenile.
No injuries were reported.

isn't that ex-Mayor Daley's neighborhood? Well then, where were the police patrolling?

Maybe they should make a page so we can monitor where every police car is in the city, would your dumb ass be satisfied? The problem is genius, is that the criminals would have access too. Quit being a lameass and look for solutions rather than wasting space.
