A recent study says that there is a new way to treat diabetics who are taking insulin.
Right now, people with Type 2 Diabetes taking insulin are sometimes told to wait before eating. But a new study from Germany says that’s not necessary.
It looked at a group of nearly 100 diabetics and found blood sugar levels remained steady regardless of whether or not participants took a 20 or 30 minute break from eating a meal.
There’s a warning — don’t assume the research applies to people with Type 1 Diabetes.
