In the field of education, the letter “A” is the universally acknowledged symbol of excellence. Our January teacher of the month agrees, but she devised a system that discourages students from talking about grades — encouraging them to focus on learning instead.
Our January teacher of the month is Molly Myers. She teaches freshman human geography at Chicago’s Lindblom Math and Science Academy in the Englewood community.

She was my AP US History teacher 5 years ago and she is AMAZING! Lindblom is full of great teachers.

This is so wonderful, Ms. Myers definitely deserves this! She is absolutely the best teacher I have ever had. She really cares about her students and pushes them to make sure they all reach their highest potential. She was my teacher 4 years ago and I've never met anyone else who has inspired me more than she has.
