On tonight’s WGN News at Five, we’re taking a trip to Ipsento Coffee House at 2035 N. Western. Every few weeks, they offer a two-hour Coffee 101 class that teaches you how to perfect your home brew. We talked to the shop’s owner Tim Taylor about what you’ll be learning should you decide to take the course. My feature will be posted here after it airs, for now, here’s more info about Ipsento…

My mother, Pamella Andersen, thought it would be great to name the standard Ipsento latte: The Sassy Ipsento, and the Ipsento Latte without the cayenne: The Sissy Ipsento. The terms stuck, & we write them on to go cups.

So proud of my step-son. He has always had such a passion for coffee, for the farmers and their families, and for the quality of his product. Well done, Tim.

Their London Fog drink is my favorite! Thanks for going there, Marcus, great story!
