Police are investigating a fatal car collision in the Scottsdale neighborhood that left two people dead late Saturday.
The accident happened about 10:45 p.m. in the 3800 block of West 87th Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. The victims were changing a tire on their car, when another car swerved and struck them.
The two victims have been identified as William Brunson, 39, of the 8200 block of South Harper Avenue in Chicago, and Victoria R. Means, 34, of the 14100 block of South School Street in south suburban Riverdale. Brunson was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:55 p.m. and Means was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:21 p.m., according to the medical examiner.
Police were talking to a person of interest in the fatal collision, but no arrests have been made.

William was a marvelous son, father, brother, and cousin and will be missed. He leaves behind tow twin boys who lost more than a father but a hero as well. He was the youngest of 6.
