Two investigations are underway after a fatal shooting this morning by a Homewood police officer or officers.
Police were responding to a reported disturbance in an apartment building in the 900 block of Olive Rd.
Just before 7 a.m., when police arrived to a third floor apartment, they were confronted.
Officers say that confrontation led police to shoot and kill the man.
There’s no information released about the deceased.
The Illinois State Police and the Cook County Public Integrity Task Force are investigating
