A high school basketball coach is charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old female student.
Kevin Jones is accused of assaulting the girl while giving her a ride home last week.
Jones is a varsity boys’ basketball coach at Epic Academy Charter School in the South Shore neighborhood.
Another girl told prosecutors she witnessed Jones and the victim engaged in a sex act, after Jones told her to leave the car.
An attorney for the school says Jones no longer works there.
Jones will appear in bond court Friday.

The media is making a big production out of guns, they are not the only danger in the schools.
