The boys basketball coaches at Simeon and Morgan Park High Schools are suspended for several games for their behavior during a fight between the two teams.
Simeon beat Morgan Park 53-51 last Wednesday at Chicago State.
As the players shook hands after the game, a brawl broke out.
Simeon coach Robert Smith and Morgan Park coach Nick Irvin continued to yell at each other as the teams were ordered back to their locker rooms.
Both men are suspended for four games.
But, they’ll be able to attend those games in a non-coaching capacity.
Outside the gymnasium following the game, a 17-year-old student was shot and killed.
