2 charged in shooting death of teen after basketball game

The two men accused of shooting and killing a teenager after a basketball game at Chicago State University, will be in bond court Saturday morning.

Michael McNabb, 32, of Chicago, and Stephen Gilbert, 29, of Alsip, were each charged with first-degree murder in the death of 17-year-old Tyrone Lawson.

Police say an argument during post-game handshakes spilled out to the parking lot Wednesday night, when Simeon Career Academy defeated Morgan Park High School.

Lawson was shot twice in the back, while he was running away.

That is a shame. A young man lost his life because of a dispute at a High School basketball game. What is this world coming to when you can't watch high school sports without someone getting killed.

Tony Precwinkle might release them. There are too many blacks in jail. She needs to jail more whites and Hispanics to meet her quota. GOOD LUCK, MRS. PRECWINKLE YOU ARE GOING TO NEED IT. Can You see who is committing the crimes? I guess You are not a rocket scientist.

Society as a whole SUCKS. Blacks, whites, etc… There's a lot of killing going on World wide. For every black man that kills another there is a white man slaughtering a movie theater or local University.
