One person was shot on Chicago State University campus tonight.

Chicago police say the responded to a shooting around 9:20 p.m. near Chicago State Dr and Cougar St. on the city’s south side.

Police say the shooting may have happened in a parking lot near the gym.

Chicago Fire Dept says the victim was a male around 20-years-old and taken to Christ Hospital in serious condition.
