A man suspected of robbing more than a half dozen suburban hair salons hit another location today.
The man, who robbed a salon in Skokie last week, walked into a Niles salon in the 8200 block of Golf Rd a little after 11:30 a.m.
He showed employees a handgun and demanded cash, making off with an undetermined amount.
Police believe he’s the same man who robbed another Niles salon two weeks ago, as well as others in Chicago, Morton Grove, Glen Ellyn, Bensenville and Lombard.

Did he drive away? Hop a bus? Walk from the premises? Fly away from the scene? Certainly all of these strip malls have external cameras. Would be great if there were some additional details released so folks could identify this guy. Did he have an accent? Did he seem mentally deficient? They never give enough info.

That's scary. I live on Golf/Greenwood – walking distance from this location. I was parked within eyesight when this happened! Scary!!!
