A new date is set to hear a motion which could grant a new trial for convicted killer Drew Peterson.
Peterson was supposed to be sentenced Thursday for the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, but that’s on hold due to a very public conflict between his attorneys.
Former lead attorney, Joel Brodsky, accused fellow defense attorney Steve Greenberg of threatening him in an email.
Greenberg denied threatening Brodsky.
For his part, Greenberg filed a motion seeking a new trial for Peterson arguing Brodsky bungled the defense’s case.
A hearing on that motion will be held February 19th and could last two days.
