Vice President Joe Biden begins a series of meetings today, to put together a tougher national gun control policy.
Early this afternoon, Biden met with a group representing victims of gun violence. He told reporters, “I want to make it clear that we are not going to get caught up in the notion that unless we can do everything, we’re going to nothing. It’s critically important that we act.”
Tomorrow, he will meet with the National Rifle Association.
A representative from Wal-Mart will also meet with Biden, since the retailer is America’s largest seller of ammunition.
Initially, Wal-Mart said it would not attend the meeting due to scheduling conflicts.
Vice President Biden will present his findings and a series of gun control recommendations to President Obama by the end of the month.
