Four children, including an infant, were killed in a fire in Georgia Tuesday night.
This happened in a duplex in Conyers, just east of Atlanta.
Three boys and one girl, ages infant to seven years old, were killed.
The victims’ mother, grandmother, and a five year old boy managed to escape.
The mother suffered severe burns.
“She was able to save one of the children, a little five-year-old. Witnesses said that she actually threw that child from a second-story window,” said Conyers Police Major Mike Waters.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
