Suburban Robbins is looking for a new police chief.
Johnny Holmes confirms, he stepped down from the position last Thursday in the wake of a drunk driving arrest last month.
He was stopped in Midlothian, and flunked a field sobriety test.
It was his second DUI arrest in less than three years.
Holmes is 66, so he was allowed to retire.
He spent 33-years in the police department.

Knowing that he was servant for the people, he should step down. That was the best thing he could have done. He couldn't obey the law.
