Two good Samaritans came to the aid of a woman s whose purse was snatched in Chicago s Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Police say Jose Rodriguez grabbed a woman from behind in the 800 block of West Diversey just before midnight Sunday.
He threatened her with a screwdriver, took her purse and then took off.
But a witness chased him and yelled to another man for help.
The two tackled the alleged robber and held him for police. The woman s purse was returned.
Rodriguez is charged with armed robbery, weapons and parole charges.
