Sears CEO Louis J. D’Ambrosio is resigning next month due to “family health matters,” according to a statement released Monday night by the company.
Current Sears Chairman of the Board of Directors, Edward S. Lampert, will assume the CEO position, in addition to his current position.
Sears Holdings, which operates both Sears and Kmart, said it expects to report a net loss of between $280 million and $360 million for the final quarter of 2012.
