One person was killed and another person was injured in an accident near west suburban Batavia.
The a Honda Accord and a Ford Expedition collided on Route 25 near Banbury drive at about 9 a.m. Monday. Police say the Expedition flipped over the Honda, landing on its roof.
The driver of the Expedition was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Karl Smith, 45, of St. Charles, Ill.
The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries were reported.
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
No criminal charges are expected to be filed.

These types of situation are sad. It would be hard to be a personal injury lawyer and have to try and comfort these people. In Idaho they do a decent job but still difficult.
