A tentative agreement has been reached to save the rest of the NHL season.
The league and the players’ association announced a tentative deal following a 16-hour negotiation session.
The lock out reached its 113th day Sunday.
The agreement still needs to be drafted and formerly approved by both parties.
The deal may mean a 48-50 game season starting on Jan. 19.
