Skip the Coffee:
Ditch the morning cup of coffee and stay away from any caffeinated energy drinks. Instead drink warm lemon water or green tea for a natural pick me up. Caffeine will dehydrate the body causing headaches and fatigue.

Eat in Season:
By eating warmer foods that are in season such as root vegetables one can boost their digestion system. Avoid eating cold broths and other foods that aren’t in season because they weaken the digestion system making one feel ill.

Avoid the Cold:
Drink water that is at room temperature and warm. Cold water weakens the digestion system and can be too much of a contrast for the body during the winter months.

Go Green:
Drink teas that are filled with antioxidants such as green tea to help give your body a pick me up. Also eat in-season foods that are full of antioxidants such as grapefruit, oranges, and lemons to help replenish your body.

Be Alternative:
Instead of reaching for the over-the-counter pain relievers when you aren’t feeling well, try a holistic approach. Acupuncture can help relieve any type of pain. Getting acupuncture done in the foot and between the thumb and the index finger can help improve circulation and cure hangover symptoms.
