Man charged in New Year’s shooting

A man has been charged with shooting two people in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on New Year’s Day.

Robert Terrell, 20, is charged with aggravated battery and attempted murder for shooting a man and a woman in the head and chest.

According to court records, Terrell has a pending gun charge against him in Cook County.

His most recent court date was in December, a few weeks before the shooting incident.
