Trunk Club CEO Brian Spaly will showcase “Four Great Looks for the New Year” that will focus on a key wardrobe item and can work for all ages depending on how you style them.

Here are some fashion style tips:

Sport a Sport Coat. Invest in a sport coat and if you already have one add a few patterned ones so you can change up your look. Do NOT wear your suit coat jacket with jeans. It’s really important to build out a casual wardrobe for flexibility on where you can wear it.

Don’t underestimate what a puffy vest can do. Puffy vests are great for a daytime causal look. Look for a vest with a more tailored look to add versatility.
 
If the shoe fits…make sure it’s paired with the right belt. Dressy belts and sneakers do not mix. Make sure the belt fits the shoe, like we paired today with the woven belt.

Dark Denim does it well.  Look for jeans with a four-way stretch and a dark wash for a wardrobe staple that can take your from business casual to date night.

Suit up. Even if you aren’t a suit-guy, some occasion is bound to call for it. Be prepared. The building blocks for starting a suiting wardrobe are investing in a solid gray suit and a solid navy suit. We went with the solid gray here which will look nice with just about anything.
