Chicago and Evanston police were involved in a chase that led to a crash.

Police say a man, who was wanted in Evanston, crashed into an SUV near Damen and Howard Tuesday night.

A Chicago police officer was approaching the suspect’s vehicle, when it went in reverse and backed into him.

The officer suffered minor injuries to his foot.

The suspect and the driver of the SUV were both taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

No charges have been filed.
