The stock market soared today following the last-minute budget compromise in congress over the fiscal cliff.
The Dow Jones gained more than2%, it’s biggest one day jump in over a year.
The NASDAQ gained just over 3%.
However, Illinois wage earners will still see a cut in their paychecks because of a state income tax increase.
