Sentencing is today for a Chicago dad who posted a Facebook photo of his young daughter bound and gagged with tape.
22-year-old Andre Curry will be sentenced in Cook County Criminal Court later this morning. He was found guilty earlier this month of aggravated domestic battery and aggravated battery, one year after he used painters tape to bind the ankles, wrists, and mouth of his two-year-old daughter before putting the picture on his Facebook page.
The judge ruled that by placing tape over his daughter’s mouth, Curry obstructed her breathing for his own enjoyment.
Lawyers for Curry say his daughter was never in danger. “This wasn’t strangulation. They were playing,” said Curry’s lawyer, Sam Adam Jr. “The child was laughing. He was laughing. It was a stupid idea to take a picture.”
Curry faces a sentence ranging from probation to seven years in prison.

Go to jail and pay the price for what? Like everyone else? He is a young man and made a mistake- seven years for that? People are funny as how quick they are to punish, and how severe their punishment should be. Your above comment is a joke !
