Bail was set at $100,000 each for two women charged in connection with the deaths of two children in a house
Police say the mother and aunt of two children killed left four young children unsupervised on Saturday night.
Tatiana Meakens, 23, whose two children died, and Britany Meakens, 22, face felony child endangerment and other charges.
Their four children, ranging in age from 2 to 7, were left alone in the home on 64th and Paulina, when flames swept through their bedroom.
The fire may have been sparked by a hot-plate used to heat the bedroom.

Four lives have been loss because of something that seem to be important, but wasn't. The two babies are in gods hands now. The parents will have to deal with mans law first. One has to ask the question. Where were the dads?

We are all human beings. Black children and white children are still children. We mourn the loss of these young innocent lives. It is not up to any of us to judge, don't take God's job away from him because none of us are qualified. Legally, a judge and jury will decide the fate of these two women.
Every race and nationality have people who fall short. I know this, a black parent loves their children as much as I do mine. We cry the same tears, pray that they will be safe.

Maybe their Mom didn't teach them to be parents. If they're not taught by someone then they can't know. Maybe they were left home alone (probably). They need forgiveness from all of us who have children, know children and love children. They must be hurting something unspeakable for the death of those kids. Its just sad that's what it is. @the folks who responded to the "Ape" comment" why respond to people who can say things like that, what they are really can't be identified much less be responded to.
