Police ticketed nearly two dozen protesters who were part of a group that disrupted holiday shopping on the Magnificent Mile Saturday.
The “Workers’ Organizing Committee of Chicago” marched down Michigan Avenue, demanding better pay for low-income food and retail workers.
Police cited the 21 people for blocking busy intersections.
It’s the same group that organized striking workers at several Wal-Marts on Black Friday last month.

First of all, you can't protest without a permit. Second of all, there are rules to protesting, otherwise we'd have complete chaos. This group needs to realize that they're no more special than anyone else. Their actions just caused them to lose complete credibility in my eyes.

Everyone….
…It is obvious that people on both sides of this debate are afraid.
…as our complex world is increasingly dangerous.
…The “The Definition of Citizenship” is what is at stake.
…”Self Government” doesn't exist everywhere else.
…Many men have died to preserve these rights.
… I've been to Mexico, it’s nice.
…but I don’t want to live there.
…I really don’t want to be Kenyan either.
Respectfully.
