Submit an event

As a free service to our community, WGN-TV offers local, not-for-profit organizations the opportunity to share information about upcoming special events.

To have your event considered for publication, simply complete and submit this form.

PLEASE NOTE: All events must be sponsored by/affiliated with a 501c3 not-for-profit and must be submitted at least four weeks prior to event date. Due to the large volume of submissions, we will not be able to confirm receipt of submission or if and when it will be published.

    The Owen Elementary School PTA will hold its Spring/Summer Children's Clothing, Toy, and Equipment Resale on Saturday March 3rd from 7:00-11:00 a.m. with a half price sale from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Owen Elementary School Gymnasium, 1560 Westglen Drive, Naperville. Numbers will be given out at 6:00 a.m. Closely supervised children only. No strollers, please!

    This evening’s journey takes us on an adventure of taste and flavor as we explore and uncork the foods and wines of Italy. The event will also feature a silent auction with travel and leisure packages. Please note that non-alcoholic beverages will be available.
    CTC’s mission is to provide professional, emotional and spiritual support to those seeking a job, looking for meaningful work, or otherwise undergoing a career transition.

    Price $100 per person.

    Here is the copy for the PSA call for actors for the Zombie Annihilation Haunted Attraction.
    The host of the haunt is Casa Italia Cultural Center in Stone Park, IL and is a 501c3 charity. If you need their numbers I have them available. Casa Italia has hired Doc Zarvin Labs, LLP to produce this event for them. Any questions, give me a call. 708-710-7354.

    "We are looking for a few good monsters. Yes, you too can be part of the Zombie Annihilation Haunted Attraction this Halloween Season. No experience needed.Open auditions for volunteer actors will begin this Monday August 26th and Tuesday August 27th from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Come out to Casa Italia located 3800 Division St, Stone Park, IL. We will be in the pavilion on the Northeast corner of the ground, enter the gate at 37th Street and Soffel Ave. Zombie Annihilation proceeds will benefit the Casa Italia Cultural Center and Veterans Museum and Juvenile Cancer Assistance Program.
