The long recruitment road has finally ended for Simeon basketball star Jabari Parker. Parker, the 6’8″ senior forward and consensus top-3 recruit announced his intent to play for the Duke Blue Devils.
Parker’s choice is only a verbal commitment at this point as he can’t sign an official letter of intent until the spring. However, his decision is expected to be final.
Thurday’s announcement put an end to one of the hottest debated topics in Chicago high school hoops history.
Parker picked Duke over Michigan State, Florida, BYU and Stanford.
